Rob Roy vs The Balrog! HOT!! Okay, it looks better than that, but it could easily turn into the kind of garbage SyFy usually dumps on us, so I'll wait and see...

There’s a lot of hype concerning the new ICP disc. Notably that longtime producer Mike E. Clark, the studio wizard behind the first five Joker’s Cards, is back to do the entire disc. The Clowns themselves have also said that this is the return of the Dark Carnival, the force that drove ICP’s best discs, such as Riddle Box and Great Milenko. So how good does the new disc sound?
In the past, every time I’ve thought of a comic book convention, the image that came to mind was always of a bunch of nerds dressed up in costumes. I expected to see at least one Superman, Batman, or Spider-Man. Having been a comic-con virgin, I had only image searches on the internet to go by. Those, of course, are full of the most interesting moments from these conventions: the costumed fans or the actors and artists. I went to Chicago on Sunday, August 9, a little nervous, expecting to find loads of costumes, and hoping to see a few beloved actors from my childhood. Only one part of this stayed the same as I walked into the convention hall.
Well the boys are back, and between this and Inglorious Basterds, there might be enough gratuitous violence to piss off Tipper Gore this year! Click below to see trailers for The Road, Agora, The Men Who Stare at Goats, and Christopher Nolan's kick-ass looking INCEPTION... Check out that last one for sure!
If you pay too much attention to the mass media, you might think that the San Diego Comic Con is the only show in the country. You’d be wrong, of course, as my family and I can attest. We checked out this year’s Chicago Comic Con, also called Wizard World Chicago in some circles, and it left us with mixed feelings.
As a huge fan of the original, I had my doubts... But now I'm stoked!!!

Shot on a Red One digital camera on a modest budget in the country of South Africa, District 9 is not the first film that comes to mind when you start thinking summer blockbuster or high-brow cinema, but it is both of these things. Directed by Johannesburg native Neill Blomkamp (in his major film debut behind the camera), District 9 manages to be thought provoking and exciting all at the same time. Michael Bay supporters take note: This is what the rest of us are talking about when we say that you can blow stuff up and still have a plot!
Damn, I think I wet myself!
And there's lots more where that came from! Click "read more" to see trailers for The Lovely Bones, Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, Dorian Gray, The Invention of Lying, and a REDBAND TRAILIER for Legion!
Opening for Tori Amos on her North American tour this summer, One EskimO is a band most Americans have likely never heard of. They hail from London, to be precise, and the lead singer, Kristian Leontiou, isn’t well known over here, and was little more than another random pop star back home. Still, here they come, and you may have already heard of them without even trying.
I wanted to take this opportunity to make an announcement or three.
