Exactly...if Jedi's can make aliens quit smoking, I don't think they'd have any trouble fighting a few silly robots. And heck, if it's a Star Wars in general thing, the Jedi would be fighting alongside the Sith, and then the robots would really be screwed.
I guess we're forgetting that most of the Transformers attacks involve vehicles and lasers, which are easily thrown off with the force or deflected by lightsabers.
You're also forgetting a little piece of George Lucas magic, the most unstoppable fighting force known to man, the vicious, vile, and currently undefeated returning champs, The Ewoks.
Emperor Palpatine shoots lightning out of his hands. Robots plus electric surge equals bad. For some reason the thought of the Sith using a Force powered EMP against the Transformers makes me smile. :)
I've waited long enough. It's time to voice my opinion. Sure, the Transformers are huge fuck-off chunks of animated metal, but if Luke can raise an X-Wing, he could easily toss Rachet around. Vader could force choke the oil out of any of the bots and cause them to freeze up. Hell, even Palpatine could Force Lightning any of them and short circuit the hell out of them. Transformers wouldn't even stand a chance. This is from a very practical point of view. I even like the Transformers more, but there's no chance in hell.
I really do not mean to be cruel here but I have to cast my opinion in this one because I also sat through the first three star wars movies, they are not films, but I have to go with transformers on this because of a minor details. One if a bunch of clone troopers can ambush one of the most powerful Jedi while she is frolicking through the a flower field in the middle of a war then I think that Devastator could fuck up a whole lot of them since they seemed to have so much trouble with General Grievious and besides it has been proven time and time again that one motherfucker that is nigh untouchable in the transformers universe it would be none other than Grimlock who could easily dispatch FrankenVadar and Dr. Palpatine the mad scientist in a god damn heart beat.
What determines how we perceive different types of music? Music can bring out such strong and mixed emotions from every listener. A listener also appreciates certain music over other. A listener will find some music to be horribly and some music to be great. What determines a listener to perceived a piece of music to be a great work of art? What determines a listener to perceive a piece of music to have no beauty?

2. Primus aka Cybertron (the TRANSFORMERS home planet and creator)
3. Allspark which creates more transformers at a rapid rate.
4. They destroy suns to harvest energon. According to Jetfire on ROTF.
5. Cyber-Key power which gives them supernatural energy from the very spark of Primus.
6. They can hide in the very midst of the clone and droid army and attack from within.
7. There are many other characters who are strong like Optimus and Megatron from the other Transformer worlds.
8. They can use the Allspark to transform the clone and droid big vehicles to Transformers and they would fight on the Transformers side.
9. Primus is on the same level as Unicron and not onnly that can create a gun using the 4 battleships from the other Transformer worlds to destroy a black hole. black holes destroy planets and death star can only destroy planets.
10. Transformers can teleport into, around, thru, or come from behind enemy lines using the space bridge.
11. If one was to open up the matrix of leadership it would blow away a planet like it destroyed Unicron one time.
12. Transformers use more than just lasers. And also wen sith and jedi are deflecting lasers with ther sabers, those blasts come from the much smaller droids and clones. Transformers guns and weapons are huge and their attacks are massive. Star wars episode 2 obi wan went to go look for Jango and they started fighting. Boba aimed the ship's guns to Obi and almost fired him. Obi could not deflect. also wen jedi are lifting huge objects they usually hav to concentrate more and take longer than it would with something small.
13. The Fallen is shown lifting up tanks and rocks from the earth with no problem when he started charging up the machine to destroy the sun. the same can happen to the turbo tanks.
14. Transformers are experts with mechanics. no duh they are machines and they can implant viruses which can shut dwn communications world wide. No communication x-wings, starfighters are goin down and if ther ship beside them is a decepticon.......o well
15. the only sith and Jedi capable of using lightning bolt is yoda, darth sidious, and dooku. there bolts are small compared to Transformer attacks but lets say they can disable one of them. How are three going to stand up to a whole planet of transformers and the planet itself is a robot. there dead.
16. Jazz has been shown to hav some sort of magnetic abilities wen he grabbed the soldiers guns in the first movie and Fallen grabs rocks and metal in the air high above the ground like its no problem. So some transformers possess certain magnetic abilities.
17. Viruses to shut down their machines and working stations.
18. Devastator who just sucks up everything and eats it.
19. if a jedi can get caught unknowingly by clones in that flower world and die easily and she was one of the best ones, and if another jedi on that blizzard like planet cdnt deflect all clone shots how r they gonna fight something they cant see. since the transformers can hide anywhere. they cd sit rite by a starship and it transform, kill them b4 they knew wut happened and then go bak to normal like nuthn happened.
20. They have self regenerating molecular armor. They will heal back to normal on the molecular level.
21. Transformers are capable of combining themselves to even stronger robots.
22. I never knew this until I saw part of Transformers 2 but also the smaller robots can transform to even look like humans. (the scene when Sam kisses a girl and Mikaela walks in on him) So a couple of clones could be some of the smaller human size transformers if they wer fighting.
23. Optimus is shown taking on three big Decepticons (after he got a little motivation) with no problem. Even though he still got backstabbed he fought Megatron, Starscream, and killed Grindor.
